Yes, it’s true. I’ve been on WordPress a whole year, and the time has come to pick a winner in my very first EVER giveaway. I can’t wait to stick hubby’s hand into the hat. He will draw out the winning name – oh, I’m so excited! Here are all the names, ready to be cut apart and put into the hat for the drawing.

The hat? Oh. Well, it was given to me by my son. I wonder if he’s trying to tell me something …. You’ll notice, I’m sure, that there are NO PHOTOS of the garden or the yard right now. The yard and the garden both look like nobody lives here, but that will change – soon!
Anyway, back to the business at hand. And that hand was supposed to be hubby’s. Problem is, he ended up having to work late, and STILL isn’t home at 9:00 , so I guess it’s either me or the dog – and all the dog wants to do is eat the papers. Well … here I go … into the hat …
OK, reckon it’s up to me
HARK! Is that hubby’s vehicle I hear approaching?? YES! IT IS!
And how do I greet my hard-working, long-suffering, sweet manly man who buys me expensive sewing machines? With a hug and a kiss? No.
I say, “Quick, pick a name so I can get this blog post finished!” What a guy – he obediently follows me into the sewing room, reaches into the hat I have all prepared, and voila!

Hi LubbyGirl, I’m not sure what I missed out on but so good for Pillows A-La-Mode to have a pleasant surprise.
I have had Computer problems again and also a visitor from Sydney so I’m still catching up, but in answer to your question it was an attachment that was being used to stop me adding a Like on Blogs including yours but I can now leave a Like on your Blog and some others but now it seems you can’t leave one on mine, although I received notification that you had but it’s not there, strange I thought you would still be asleep.
Take Care, good thing we didn’t have to pay to be in your special gift giving, it’s sad to see Christians hooked on raffles, gambling etc but a Love gift like yours is special because it was heart given… whatever it was? 🙂

I just had a long reply to this all ready to hit the REPLY button, and right before my eyes, it just disappeared. Hmmm….maybe I’m having some problems of my own here. What I was trying to say, before this computer decided it knew better, was that (1) I’m so sorry your computer has been acting up again, and (2) I’m really glad to see you back! And I also said that over on my Don’t Carry the Donkey! blog, I gave away some fabric book markers I’d made, and I made extras. Would you like one? That giveaway was open to anyone who commented, and I would love to send you one if you want it. They’re not professional by any stretch of the imagination, but they were fun to make. I posted a picture of them on the previous blog post here, something about it not being sewing machine envy that made hubby buy me a new machine. 🙂

Hi LubbyGirl, did you know if you only have one ” b ” in your name Spell-checks change it to Playgirl – Hmmmm I’m going to keep an eye on you 🙂 but then the extra ” b” no doubt makes a lot of difference and of course it depends on what type of Playgirl you are, some have lots of good fun like you do with creating. Thank you so much for your kindness in offering me a Bookmark and I’m sure they are beautiful like your heart.
Since I started Freedomborn, I have indeed had a lot of Blog and Computer problems, perhaps some were because of my lack of knowledge about Technology but others were caused by those who seek to manipulate others and some who also do evil and hurt others for fun and yes even revenge, although they may not realise they have hard hearts, they do, their actions show it.
In regard to your missing Like on my Post, try again and if it does not appear it would be a good Idea to contact WordPress, as it may happen with other Blogs too.
