The Phoenix

Being the REmissionary, this week’s photo challenge on WordPress was pretty interesting, all about renewal. Naturally, my mind goes to making new things out of old, renewing their usefulness. Right now my main interest leans toward making new purses out of old jeans. And that is what I’m about to do! Any day now. I promise. Here is what remains of the pants I plan to “renew,” from a pair of hubby’s old jeans that are on their *cough cough* last legs. I’ll have photos of the purse that rises from the scraps – now, you didn’t think I was going to say from the ashes, did you?? Nope, no jeans-burning about to happen here.

Stay tuned.

    • well, it’s up (see The Phoenix Rises post), but the jury’s still out on whether it’s a success or not. I always carry them after I make them, to find out all the quirks. I’m not sure about this one. 🙂
