Not Quite As Short Now

There is ALWAYS a fix.  Seriously.

I’ve been trying to finish this purse that I promised my friend I’d make for her – about a month ago!  Never pays to get in a hurry, lemme tell ya.

Anyway, it’s actually coming together, and I’m feeling better about this whole project.  I’m starting to like it!  🙂

I knew there was a reason I saved the legs!

I ended up using part of one of the legs to add about 4 inches to the length.  That was enough to box the bottom, and the lace helped hide the seam line.

see? enough room to make the bottom. *whew!*

Well, stage one is completed . . . now for the lining.   Like I said, there is ALWAYS a fix!
