Weekly Photo Challenge: Create

Is this creative genius or what! This car was parked beside us at a roadside stop in Wyoming. I had to stop taking photos of the gorgeous scenery to get a shot of this imaginative use of whatever was at ‘hand’! These guys totally fit the category of REmissionary – use what you’ve got to get the job done. That’s my motto and I’m stickin’ to it!

    • They were taking pictures right beside us – VERY interesting looking folks. We went back to the car before they did, and that’s when I spotted their ingenuity. By that time hubby was ready to go and didn’t want to stick around long enough to talk to them. Bummer, huh.

        • What’s funny is, he was just now reading over my shoulder (we do that right regular) and said he didn’t remember the car, until I prompted him a bit more. THEN he did! He thought that trowel they used was pretty ingenious too.

  1. Such an amazing use of smart ingenuity. Improvising, challenging our mind and creativity to make the most of what have is the way to go. We live in world that is all about buy, buy, buy. Just because we can afford it doesn’t mean it’s right. My dad taught me to reuse things and I grew up appreciating the value of things. I should have taught about that vital life lesson when I got my first credit card. Oh, well, there is still room to change and remember the important values in life. Love the post!

    • Thank you! We have NO credit cards – learned the value of budgeting a couple of years ago. We’ve found joy in small things and in just being together. But . . . we do enjoy our road trips each year. Can’t give EVERYTHING up! LOL
