AND NOW FOR SOMETHING REALLY SWEET!
I just love the blogging community. Seriously. There are days when I’m in a blue funk (did you know funks came in colors?), and have no interest in much of anything. Tired. Worn to a frazzle. Git up ‘n go done got up ‘n went. That’s how I was feeling this week, for no apparent reason.
I mean, things are going well. I’m so thankful to be gainfully employed, and to have a sweet, wonderful, hard-working husband who is also gainfully employed. I have some amazing friends and two sons I’d die for. My church family is the. best. EVER. So . . . why in the world would I be going through this depression? I cannot answer that, but it’s on the way out the door as we speak.
One thing that came along and gave me a little push in an encouraging direction was a ‘super sweet’ award from one of my blogger buddies, Patty at Thoughts from an American Woman. What a gal – how in the WORLD did she know I’d need that little lift this week?? But there it was, and here I am – sharing it. Now I need to complete the necessary steps to accepting this. Soooooooooo………here goes!

is that the picture of me trying to get a shot from the rocks? hubby snuck that one in while I was trying to focus and use those rocks for a tripod. didn’t work…the camera’s battery went dead right after this. LOL but we got a few shots with hubby’s camera before HIS battery went dead. I’ll tell you sometime how I came up with LubbyGirl for a name, too…a rather boring story.

I saw your comment about not being able to view my page except for a blue background. I’m sorry you’re having that problem. What computer version and browser are you using, Windows with Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc, an IPad, or …? I can contact WP support and let them know. I’ve viewed it on my computer with IE9 and on an Android cellphone.

I have a MacBook, and it’s at least 3 years old, so it’s probably a grandpa by now. It keeps saying my browser is out of date – well, duh, ya reckon?
I use Safari for the browser. I dunno, I think I’m on the computer-challenged list, and probably not likely to be promoted until heaven. Then I won’t need computers! 
I just started getting the notice about my browser being out of date, coincidentally when the WordPress snow started falling and I got a jumpy scroll bar ghost as part of the snowfall. If you haven’t enabled the snow, it is a nice touch during the Christmas season. I had it last year with no problems, and I’ve just been ignoring the bottom of the page of any WP blogs with snow. Maybe updating my browser will fix that. Anyway, this link was included with my notice to update my browser, and yours is listed too. http://browsehappy.com/ Apparently we can “Browse Happy” after updating there.
I’ve looked into the upgrade for Safari, just gotta save up to get it. I didn’t see it as a freebie on their website. Reckon I’d better start saving up for it. I haven’t done the snowfall stuff yet; wonder if it would work with this old browser….
